On September 28, 2022, at the age of fifty-nine, hip-hop legend, Coolio, passed away from sudden cardiac arrest. Coolio created hip-hop standards Gangsta’s Paradise” and “Fantastic Voyage” Cooilo’s death shocked the hip-hop community and marked one of the most surprising deaths of 2022. Coolio was visiting a close friend’s house on September 28, 2022, during his visit he used the restroom, but failed to return, worrying his friends. Coolio’s friend called his name multiple times before entering the restroom. There Coolio was found unconscious on the floor and was unresponsive according to his friend. Unfortunately, the EMTs declared Coolio dead at the scene. At this time, the friend Coolio was visiting at the time of his death has not been released to the public.
