As of October of 2022, Kanye West’s reputation and strong following from the public  rapidly fell due to his recent controversial comments made on social media. The controversies  began with Ye wearing a “White Lives Matter” t-shirt to Paris Fashion Week, October 3rd. On October 6th, West went on to demonstrate his pro-life views during an interview with Fox News.  October 7th, Kanye’s anti semitic comments and ideas began to flood social media when he  posted screenshots of texts between him and Sean Combs, sharing how he feels about Jewish  people and how they have control and greed over the music industry. Due to these controversial  statements, he later became restricted on Instagram. Two days later, West tweeted saying he was  going to go “death con 3 on Jewish people.” His account was later locked on Twitter. During an  interview with Chris Cuomo on October 17th, West explains how his “death con 3” tweet was  referring to how he believes Jewish record labels take ownership and control of African  American musicians and their music. West later on called it “modern day slavery.” Throughout  the month during various interviews, he also seems to share statements of praise to Hitler and  Nazis. During his interview, Kanye claims, “Well I see good things about Hitler…I like Hitler. I  love Jewish people, but I also love Nazis.” On November 28th, West appeared on right-wing  youtuber Tim Pool’s podcast show. After seeing Pool’s disagreement to West’s conspiracies  against Jewish people, Ye stormed out. On December 3rd, Kanye posted a photo of the Star of  David and a swastika combined, which caused even more controversy, causing him to get  suspended from Twitter once again. Due to West’s recent scandals, he has been cut from various collaborations with brands such as Adidas, Gap, CAA, and Balenciaga. Since West’s most recent  scandals, he has been missing and staying off the grid.
