“Northern Lights” Spread the Holiday Spirit

Twas the week before finals, when all through the school

Not an assignment was missing, no one would be the fool

The assignments were scored on Canvas with care,

In the hopes that a 4.0 GPA would soon be there

Students ushered in the holiday season in a fun-filled spirtit week at Sierra Vista High School this week; starting with everyone’s favorite day Pajama Day.

When out on the quad there arose such a clatter,

Messenger staff sprang to the phones to catch pictures of the matter . . . Tuesday Mountain Lions dressed as their favorite Winter character.

When what to their wondering eyes did appear,

But a minature sleigh and students dressed a eight tiny reindeer  . . . on Wednesday, December 12 students dressed as a group to show their holdiay spirit.

Some looked quite jolly as they hoped for a treat . . . Thursday offered Vista family to sport their ugliest of holiday sweaters

On Friday, December 9, students “sprang to gymnasium, to give their classmates a greeting  . .  and wished each other a happy holiday meeting”
