As summer break quickly approaches, Sierra Vista students begin to make their plans. Whether the plans involve relaxation time with family and friends or traveling across the globe, Vista students look to make the summer or 2022 one to remember.

Students plan to spend their summers differently whether it is staying local or traveling. Freshman student Constantine Garcia shared, “I am going to hang out with friends for most of the Summer and play games as well.”

Freshman, Farid Mazhar Osman-Rumie echoed the “stay at home game plan”,  “For my summer plans, I plan on staying at home most of the time and not causing stress before my sophomore year.” Summer break to Farid is like taking a year break from school.

However, not all students with global summer trips are different when it comes to planning. Sophomore student Ismael Portillo shares his global plans, “I want to visit Spain and have a tour guide take me and my family everywhere.” He further explains, “I want to visit Spain because after high school I want to pursue my education there.” Additionally a Sophomore student Alen Palic shared, “I want to go to Bosnia to visit my family and play soccer with my home town friends.”

Some students make plans to go back to their hometowns to visit or have a vacation at the location. Rogers Lee, a Junior, shared,  “For summer break I plan on going back to Montana and visit my old buddies and my Dad.” Rogers likes to stay active and not become a “couch potato” for two months.

A senior, Andric Salvador shared, “I will go to California for Universal Studios and Disneyland. I also plan on going to the beach while I am in California as well as eating a lot of their food.” However, once he gets back he plans on resetting his brain to prepare for college at CSN.
