Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

As Marvel grows bigger and bigger after the death of Iron Man, every marvel character has been separated but Shang Chi will bring the Avengers together. How does Shang Chi get the Ten Rings? Will Shang Chi be the next Iron Man? Will Xialing take over her father’s legacy after his death?
Shang Chi is the #1 best-selling in the movie department as of right now. Simu Liu stars as Shang Chi, a key part of the movie and his broken up family. Shang Chi’s power-hungry father Wenwu who has lived for 1000 years created an organization called Ten Rings. Before marrying Jiang Li (Wenwu’s wife) he used to destroy kingdoms and kill a lot of people. When he married Jiang Li, he found peace and put all the ten rings in a box. After her death Wenwu being lost and confused started going back to what he was. “You can’t outrun who you really are.” – Wenwu. When Wenwu found the love of his life Jiang Li, he finally felt peace inside of him. They got married and made a family. But when Shang Chi’s mother died, Wenwu forced his son to train really hard to make him a killer. Causing the young boy to leave his sister Xialing and Wenwu.
Shang Chi, known as an American Adult, takes on the character of Shaun.
When he rides the bus with his friend Katy up and down the hills of San Francisco, a group of henchmen from Wenwu attacked Shang Chi for a green pendant he wears around his neck. He beats up the henchmen, but managed to lose his green pendant.
The fight scenes and action in this movie are extremely critical which does a good job of hyping up the audience. The special effects are very intense when the best fights occur. In addition to being action packed, it is also full of funny bits between Katy and Shaun singing at karaoke. It shows that they have a real bond with each other and trust each other.

Katy is the main humor of the whole movie. Shaun ran away from his first mission and stayed in San Francisco living like an American. He fought kids at school, there weren’t any parents going after him disciplining him for his actions.

When Shang Chi and Katy went to Xialing’s secret fighting building, Shang Chi didn’t know what he signed up for. He signed up to fight his sister. When they fought he lost tremendously. But while fighting Shang Chi tried to explain that dad (Wenwu) is going to come and take the necklace like his. She finally listens but henchmen and Wenwu (the dad) come and fight both Xialing and Shang Chi.

Wenwu manages to get the necklaces and tells them both that they should all go home at last. When they arrive home, he explains why he needed to take the necklace. He showed his mom’s secret hometown. Wenwu explains that he hears a voice just like his wifes. The voice tells Wenwu to open the gate of the Evil. But Shang Chi warns him that the gate doesn’t have their mother.

Wenwu denies Shang Chi’s words and throws Katy, Shang Chi and Xialing inside of a prison. He finds a man with a weird creature (Qilin), and tells him that he’s from a secret village. Qilin says that he has a way to go back home. If they don’t stop their dad then the village is over.
When they arrive in the village, they get ready for Wenwu and his comrades to fight. When Wenwu dies, he gives Shang Chi the ten rings. Shang Chi destroys the Dweller in Darkness and saves the world.

At the end, Xialing was cleaning up Wenwu’s base, but finds out it can be all hers. She has the potential to take over the legacy of her father. Shang Chi also has the potential to be the next Iron man. He shows the martial arts, flexibility, and speed.
Sofia states about how good the movie is. She states, “The movie is really good and I really liked the relationship between the brother and sister.”
